It's a simple, fun and affordable way to transform a specific motorcycle into a one of a kind vintage custom. Our kits are basically bolt on components, there are a few exceptions.
There are 6 basic components to our kits:
Unpainted rear fender with all mounting brackets.
Seat with mounting brackets.
Lighting (with all mounting brackets including license plate).
Pre-drilled drag bars (with risers if necessary).
Exhaust wrap (optional)
Decals
Our kits are complete. All the brackets are powdered coated gloss black. Every nut and bolt is supplied. all wiring is coded.
Heres an example step by step kit for the Vulcan 800
We found the bike and paid $2900 for it. It had the Vance & Hine exhaust and a slightly larger tire on the front.
We removed the fenders, seat, tail and back signal lights, tank and stock handle bars.
We sent the new rear fender (from our kit), tank, front fender and battery cover to our painter for the satin blue and yellow color scheme.
While the paint was being done we installed all the black pre-powder coated brackets that mount on the rear fender, seat, signal and tail lights (with license bracket on far side). We then mounted the seat, lights and pre-drilled drag bars. (Every nut and bolt is supplied in the kit).
We installed a 5.00 x 16 Firestone vintage tire on the back.
Next we finished the wiring. All wires are supplied and coded. There is very little splicing required.
We removed the exhaust and wrapped it with the black tape. (optional)
We installed both fenders, battery cover and tank.
We put our helmets and aviator goggles on, fired it up and went for a HELL-OF-A-RIDE.
The bikes gets alot of attention wherever we ride it !!
When the snow came we had the wheels powder coated black.
It's that simple. You don't change wheels, suspension, frames, gas tanks or anything mechanical. The folks that manufacture these bikes spend millions of dollars to make them safe and dependable. We just help you make them special and specific to you and only you.
