Tulsa Vstar 1100 CustomizationPhase 1 complete. Tore it down, completely cleaned the frame, reassembled, took abrasives to the chrome finish of both side covers and the Cobra slashcut pipes (took 5 beers and two glasses of scotch to get up the nerve to dull the finish on the pipes)....finally finished wrapping the exhaust headers with the help and advice of two good friends Ken H and Cameron S.........thanks for all your help guys. Phase 2 coming soon.
Re: Tulsa Vstar 1100 CustomizationPhase 2 complete.
Put in place risers and drag bars, along with all new cables. Added 4 inch forward controls. Removed rear fender bracket and placed seat pan and seat, bullet signals and model A tail light along with horizontal license plate holder. New tires and brakes.

Still needs fenders and tank to be painted then rear fender mounted. It has been a blast converting this Vstar 1100. Hopefully one of many to be done in my garage.
